Days Inn by Wyndham Chesterfield Tibshelf

The amazing welcome we received checking into this hotel really set the tone for what was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. As other reviews have said, the hotel has recently been refurbished and to a very high standard. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed, bathroom was clean and well maintained. Despite our room being above reception and facing onto the service area car park there was no disturbance or overnight noise. Bed was very comfortable. The 25% discount on breakfast is well worth doing if you have time to enjoy breakfast before leaving the morning after your stay. If you arrive at this service area early evening and you don't fancy killing hours in your room until bedtime, there is access to the "Silverhill Trail" just to the right of the service road at the back of the services with access to numerous villages and pubs, all within a relatively short walking distance. But I have to come back to the lady who checked us in, she was friendly, warm, and welcoming, answered all our questions about breakfast, distances to pubs offsite and really is a credit to the hotel. Whilst we've never previously considered The Days Inn at Tibshef as a stopover on longer trips, we certainly would after this experience.

The hotel is conveniently located in the motorway services. The rooms have been recently refurbished and the beds were comfy. Food is available in the services. This hotel does exactly what it should. Provide an affordable and comfy bed for the night while travelling.

We have stayed at the property three times this year! It is convenient for visits to Nottingham and Sheffield.

Lovely large room, convenient location and friendly staff. Let down was thin walls. Above us was either some machinery or a heavy snorer- either way intermittent disturbing noise throughout the night.

Lovely clean hotel. Although based at services was very quiet. Room was a good size, king size bed and immaculate. Receptionist was very cheerful and helpful. Free WiFi and free parking. Voucher bought for £7.50, gave £10 towards food at services, so we had a bite before moving on.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and fresh. It was a great choice for us with a 6yr old in tow. Good value for money with a little choice for food next door on a budget. The parking was great and included, all you had to do was register your car at reception when checking in.
