Villa Nottola

The property itself is beautiful and the rooms are big and airy, with a nice bar and restaurant if you don’t want to head out in the evening. The pool in amongst the olive trees is big and nice to cool off in the heat. The breakfast is very good and the staff are all really friendly.

If you are in a ground floor room, you can hear every movement from the floor above, which can be annoying if the guest above are leaving early. Some pads on the bottom of the furniture legs could fix this. The pool could be a bit cleaner and some background music in the bar/restaurant might add a bit more atmosphere.

Het terrein is erg mooi en groot, makkelijk bereikbaar met de auto. Kamers zijn prima. (Nieuwe) Gastvrouw bij receptie ontzettend aardig!

Het diner was prima, maar het restaurant vond ik niet echt sfeervol. Je zit in een grote hal en aan beide kanten lopen voortdurend mensen naar binnen, wat weinig gezelligheid geeft. Daarnaast verliep de service wat rommelig. Omdat ik zwanger ben, vroeg ik of de burrata gepasteuriseerd was. De medewerker gaf aan dit in de keuken na te vragen, maar kwam terug met het antwoord: "Ik denk het." Dat gaf mij niet veel vertrouwen. Ook bestelde ik een alcoholvrij bier (0.0%), maar kreeg ik een bier met 0,3% alcohol geserveerd. Al met al was het eten prima, maar voor een ontspannen diner zou ik eerder de auto pakken en ergens anders gaan eten.

El recinto de las duchas muy pequeño. El apartamento era en una segunda planta.
