Clandulla Cottages & Farmstay

The service was first class. Matt was super friendly and very accommodating. It's a fabulous place for children to stay.

Warm and personable husband-and-wife team provided an intimate small group farmstay experience. Kids especially loved the nightly bonfire. Shared sundeck with a communal dining table and cooking facilities also allowed interaction with other guests.

We were priviliged to stay in the newly furbished Bottlebrush Cottage. Matt and the lovely farm animals warm hospitality made our stay such a pleasure. The farmstay is conveniently located nearby attractions and supermarket. We loved the serenity and beauty of the farm stay and its surroundings.

Location great, very family friendly. The animal feeding was the highlight for my little girl.

After an hour drive from Brisbane we arrived at the property to be greeted by Matt. He took us to our room and explained the property to us. Once we settled in, we proceeded to feed the animals with Matt’s guidance. He was very informative and attentive. He was also very patient with my son who was very excited about his farm stay and asked loads of questions about the animals. It was a real treat to feed the animals twice a day. What was most impressive was that Matt would prepare for the feeding prior by cleaning up any animals pool and sectioning animals off so the feeding was as safe as possible. The room was so lovely too and had all the facilities you needed. We also enjoyed a fire every night which was beautiful on a winter night. We will be back. We really enjoyed it and it captured everything we hoped for our farm stay.

Genuinely a family friendly holiday. Plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained between toys, DVD, sports gear, cubby house, swings, sandpit toys, old tractors. Not to mention the animal feeding and patting and all the fenced in space to let them roam and run. The cabin decor is all family friendly too, no stressing about glass vases etc put on low tables. We went in two family units and had adjoining room, and the communal space. It was perfect! Can’t wait to go back.

You can tell some of the property has seen better days but I personally thought it added to the charm. Will be great to see how the new owners bring it back to life.

Matt was fantastic and the kids loved all the animals. Would definitely recommend to any families travelling looking for a great farm stay. We will be back
