Tanawit Hotel Hua Hin

Worst condition in overall and I immediately change to another hotel by my own.

The Hotel entrance is small on a side road and easy to miss the narrow alley leading to the hotel car park. Its in a nice quiet area, about 15 mins walk from the beach. Its located near the night market with many shops and restaurants. The rooms may be a bit dated but are clean and spacious, we stayed in the deluxe rooms at a very reasonable 1500 baht a night inlcuding breakfast. Bathroom was spacious with a shower and bath. The room had a sofa infront of the TV with a small balconcy with a restricted view of the the town. Found the staff very polite and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Dejligt sted, god beliggenhed, hjælpsomme personale, jeg havde mistet min taske i bussen, opdagede det da vi ankom til hotellet, straks hælp personalet med at ringe til busstationen og skaffe en taxa så vi kunne komme afsted med det sammen, tasken var på stationen og både kontanter og visakort var i tasken, så der blev vores ferie reddet, tak til både buschauffør og personale. Morgenmaden var ok. Dejlig stor pool og selvom det er et stort hotel var der altid plads til alle.

Ce n'est pas la première fois que nous séjournons dans cet hôtel et peu de changements. Un certain nombre de travaux sont â prevoir notamment la salle d'eau (robinetterie obsolète) et surtout matelas à remplacer, dommage car le Tannawitt est idéalement placé et les piscines sont très agréables.

Kind of old hotel, the airconditionar isnt in best shape,showers also below standard, Quiet neighborhood though

This hotel getd worse every year. No repairs to interrior or building, and it shows. Positive: Very friendly Personell, Superb Location, Large Pool area. Negative: Very bad WiFi/Internet, No english TV only Thai and Chinese with "snow", Dirty shower and barhroom, Broken interrior, lights and doors. Breakfast is not the best, Yoghurt, Milk, Toast, Eggs, Chicken saussages, Ham, Rice, Thai dishes. Chinese owner has his family living at hotel, with kids shouting every morning in hallway, and all kids watch kids shows on full volume on iPad at breakfast or driving aound on noisy scooters with sirens. Generaly feels like living with the entire family.

We looked at several hotels around this area and decided to stay here, we were given a low floor (not in the main building) and were told higher floors were more expensive ??. Room was not too bad but the aircon was SO noisy we could not use it. Breakfast was average and the staff were polite. Location was quite good only 10 minutes walk to main bars and restaurants.

Two great pools. Staff had limited English but tried hard and were helpful. Nice shower and clean room.

Overall could be better. There was no welcome for me. Had to carry the luggage to my room personally. Reception staff very arrogant and not friendly
