Days Inn by Wyndham Cannock Norton Canes M6 Toll

A lovely warm welcome by AMY . She was nice and pleasant and very knowledgeable. Nice clean rooms and good size bed. Food service was great a good variety. Amy recommended a meal which was lovely thank you so much. Didn’t know this hotel was here will be returning

Great stay for two people and two dogs. Area outside is fantastic for dogs - large grassy area. Hotel is super dog friendly. Only issue was our room was by a corridor door so I would ask to be at the end next time as the constant slamming made the dog bark. Some confusion with family opposite who kept knocking on their door to get in which set the dogs off as it sounded like they were knocking on our door. Walls quite thin so noisy neighbour on the phone at 11pm was disturbing. Ordered deliveroo to hotel, McDonald’s in the services for breakfast. Overall very good - what you expect for the price at a motorway services.

After breaking down we were unable to complete our first stay at Days Inn Corley so we stayed at the Days Inn at Norton Canes instead. The receptionist Eryn was very friendly & helpful & went above and beyond in helping us book the room for the night whilst being in contact with the other hotel. This made the situation less stressful for us. The house keeping staff were very helpful to us too.

Bed was very comfy and was having a nice sleep until the Person in room 22 next door very noisy around 1045pm.. 😤

Recommended all round

This place is perfect for an overnight stay to break up your journey. Room clean and comfortable and tea/coffee provided. Discount offered if you needed to buy anything from the motorway service outlets.

Amazing rooms, clean toilets with nice shower facilities and amazing customer service from check in to check out. Services itself is lovely with lots of outlets to choose from. Ladies in housekeeping made me feel welcome and we had a great chat. It was very cold and icy outside but the heating made it feel warm without an issues. Thank you :)

Friendly staff on reception. Reception area warm and welcoming. Room clean and exactly what we needed. Great for our long journey south.

Checked in At 9.50 pm quick and effective and was allocated room 1, right behind the reception and staff area. I was told that the service station itself closed at 10pm, so no chance of getting any refreshments, not very good if you we’re passing on the toll and needed a toilet break if the service station closes at 10pm. During the night I was kept awake hearing people talking and doors banging, staff arriving for work entering and leaving a room opposite room 1. The room itself was spacious and warm large bathroom with had lots of hand rails For disabled guests. The problem is the noise, if you stay and you get allocated room 1 ask to be changed to another room

As per usual roll up at 1am to a lovely welcome from Jen she’s a superstar. Rooms clean, spacious and warm. We’ve used a few Days Inn now Lockerbie and Gretna Green all are excellent.
