We had an amazing stay at the Lomand Lodge! Communication prior to arrival was prompt and helpful. The location is fantastic- a 5 minute walk to the center of Queenstown, (it is an easy downhill walk, but a somewhat steep walk back uphill, although very manageable). Our room was a lake view studio - we were WOWED as we walked into the room looked out the large sliding glass door and had the stunning view of the lake and the mountains! Having a balcony and that view, if I could suggest to management: it would have been very nice to have 2 chairs on the balcony to enjoy that gorgeous view!!! The kitchenette was well supplied for easy meals. Ever so helpful was the washer and dryer - it is shared on the ground level ($4. per load) and they have laundry soap. There is a picnic table in the garden area which was lovely. The personnel gave great suggestions for touring and were very pleasant! Make sure to reserve parking if you have a car. I highly recommend Lomand Lodge!
