Lomond Lodge Motel & Apartments

Booked for two nights, but after checking in, I discovered that the room had no windows or views - despite this being clearly advertised on Booking.com. This was extremely misleading and disappointing. Because of this, I had to scramble late in the evening to find alternative accommodation, which completely ruined the experience. To make matters worse, no refund was offered and I was forced to book another place at a much higher last-minute price. Overall, the situation felt deceptive, and I genuinely felt misled into booking under false pretenses. I strongly urge others to be cautious before booking here.

Bit rude having to insert coins to operate the laundry when the room tariff is at the high end. Made worse when reception was rarely available to provide change. Who carries coins now? An accessible laundry is one of the main reasons for choosing an apartment over a hotel room. Also furniture in the living area was a bit tired and well past its use by date. Again this is not expected when paying upmarket prices.

A really wonderful and well situated place for a 1 week stay. I was by myself for over half the time, as my partner was walking the Milford track. I was comfortable and safe, with all the facilities I needed, close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful, with kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Beautiful rooms and quality fittings, location was good, was view from our shared courtyard setting. We had the back rooms. nice property. we used the car park lifts across the road to access the middle of town, good tip. Everything is close, can walk everywhere. chair lift basically next door.

The front rooms, great views but stairs if your seniors? and not too steep ramp to back rooms with some stairs, not too many, we use the car park lift across the road for easier access to centre, its not too far without it though but can help?

Close to town and restaurants . Room was small but comfortable… bed was enormous. Lovely furnishings except for the chairs in the room … very uncomfortable. Having a laundry onsite was a bonus too ..
