Tasman Holiday Parks - Hervey Bay

Location and easy check in

We stayed one night in Cabin 10 with our family. The check-in process was easy, the reception staff were professional, and the location was convenient. Unfortunately, the cabin itself was poorly maintained. The biggest issue was the strong mould smell inside the cabin. We tried opening the windows, but the smell did not improve. After staying there, I felt unwell the next day and needed to take anti-allergy medication. The bedroom had three small windows, but only one had a curtain, so my daughter woke up at 6am because of the sunlight. One of the pillow covers was severely stained and looked very old, which was unpleasant. The bathroom and all three small windows had broken flyscreens, and we also found cockroaches inside the cabin. Overall, while the staff and location were good, the cabin condition and cleanliness need significant improvement.

We love staying here. The cabin is a good size, bed was comfortable, hot water, we were right near the pool. I love the pool table, games room and other extra things to do in the park. Staff as friendly and helpful. Very well priced!

The pool cues need replacing. I remember when we had to pay a $10 fee to hire them then return them. Now it just seems they're run down because this stopped.

Communication with staff. Bathroom great. Comfortable overall.

There were a few things requiring maintenance that were reported to staff on checkout. They didn’t impede our stay but we had higher expectations.

Bed was extremely comfortable. Great location, easy to access. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Smooth late check-in system.

Room let in outside light even with all 'black out' blinds drawn. Not many power points had to have phone in the kitchen area as no power next to bed. Very narrow parking spots next to cabins
