Meadowsweet Hotel

Was comfy and pleasant for one night stay. Could hear room next to us when using water/toilet flushing vice versa but that can't be helped. Clean white bedding, room not perfect cleanliness but not dirty. Nice room just not decorated/arranged to our style. TV was tiny not that you'd need it with lovely view of the hills outside!

a traditional-esque hotel situated in the middle of the snowdonia national park. the place was perfect, it supplied all that we needed for our stay and the host was very friendly, i’d highly recommend.

Great location for access into snowdonia, with a few god restaurants in the local village, a lot of options for gluten free. Room was clean and had what we needed, did need a bit of TLC in places. The only negative is that the pipes were quite loud, when another room would use the water it was very loud in our room, which did wake us up a couple of times. But for the price and location a good hotel.

Great location within a short walk into town and close by to plenty of other tourist areas. We only stayed two nights, but it was a pleasant room and felt reassured by their COVID-19 measures.

Overall, a nice hotel. Great location, free parking, minutes from shops and town centre, 10 drive from Zip world and 30 sh minutes from Snowdonia mountain railway. Friendly and helpful owner/ receptionist. Large and light rooms, looks recently refreshed. Bathroom is a bit dated, but shower room looked recently renovated. The only two major downsides were the cleanliness of glasses and cutlery which was horrible (place had food hygiene rating of 2 apparently, so not a choice for an evening meal) and there is no lift which makes it uncomfortable for travelling with babies and carrying heavy luggage upstairs.

A warm welcome to this family run hotel. i was pleasantly surprised to find a huge 4-poster bed in my room, the only downside was the struggle to gett hot water to the en-site bathroom sink for a shave. Tea/coffee, TV and free wifi, and a very good value breakfast, all added up to a positive stay.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We hadn't seen a breakfast option on ebookers but they offered it when we arrived - and it was great, cooked to order. The room was cosy and the shower lovely and hot (just what we needed after a cold, wet day of walking). Just really great, would highly recommend.
