long story short...kite, tarifa, low budget, perfect, excellent, tip top accommodation with good breakfast and really nice staff. 5 minutes walk to old town, a lot of free parking places around, good wifi.

I stayed in one of the 2nd floor suites (Cancun), which was nice, good space, nice little outdoor courtyard. Sara is Great, thank you Sara! She helped me with multiple needs, reservations, including a day-tour to Tangiers. It is staff like her who can really make staying at a place more enjoyable. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood about 10 min. nice (and safe) walk from downtown/Old Town, which is great. Good parking on the street if you have a car. Good wifi. Breakfast included...very basic European options (few sliced meats, cheese, bread/toast), nothing fancy, but ok, and the staff works to make sure you have what you need. Good coffee machine. Juice, milk, cereal, yogurt. This is a small and personal place, and I liked it quite a bit, think you'll find it a good value and choice in Tarifa.

My wife and I stayed one night at Hospederia Almundo on a recent visit to Tarifa. The hotel is a bit of a hike from the ferry terminal, but it is not a problem if you don't mind a walk or have a car. The hotel was clean, well air conditioned, and seemed to be very recently furnished. The free breakfast was adequate. The one problem we experienced was that the wifi did not work during the entire stay. The staff did try to fix the problem, but they were unsuccessful. The problems were ultimately blamed on the wind (which seemed like a poor excuse to this IT professional). When I asked about a local cafe with wifi access I was referred to the entire main tourist area and told that "every place will have it". This advice proved utterly useless as all four restaurants and cafes we visited in this area did not have wifi. The lack of wifi was a significant inconvenience for us as we needed to make arrangements for onward travel. While everything else about the hotel was nice, you may want to look elsewhere if working internet is important for you (or at least confirm with the hotel that the wifi is working).

This hostal is great. We stayed for a couple of nights early in the week (Tue & Wed) in July 2014. Staff were very friendly and we were asked if we’d like a free upgrade from the ‘standard’ room (which we saw and looked nice in itself) to a ‘character’ room. We stayed in the ‘Paris’ room, which had a great little terrace, which while not a beautiful few was really nice for a quick chill-out. Location is excellent, especially if you want to drive out of Tarifa during the day as access to the main road is excellent. Parking was easy, either right outside, or within a very short walk. The walk into town is 10 minutes at most. It was also quiet and spotlessly clean in the room and in the communal areas. Breakfast was basic, but nice and the coffee from the machine was pretty good. Overall recommended; be realistic with your expectations and you’ll be really happy with your choice.

I stayed her with a friend and was delighted. It's located an 8 minute walk from the old town which made it very easy to find. I have visited Tarifa may times and finding a parking spot can be very tricky at times but due to its location I could park directly outside the door. We stayed in the Moroccan room which had a huge roof terrace with views out to sea. It was spotless. The checkin was quick and friendly. We overslept and the receptionist came to check on us and told us to take our time checking out!

Stayed in the Marrakech room, clean, character room with own roof terrace and great view. Location 10 minutes away from noisy night center. Good value for money. Chilled vibe and easy parking. Love the bed.

Quality/Price: Good It is clean and modern. They just changed the owners and everything looks pretty new. It is not a fancy place but it is clean and nice decorated. Personal really nice and helpful Medium Size rooms / Big bathroom Breakfast not very good but available until very late 8 minutes walking until Puerta de Jeréz (door to old city)

I stayed here for a few days! I really like it, although is not in the center of Tarifa, is cheap and is very close. I would say 5 - 8 minutes to the center! The staff is nice, and rooms are awesome! nice design! Only thing I would improve is the breakfast, other than that, is really worth

Me and my boyfriend stayed for a couple of days in tarifa. Tarifa was lovely and sunny but the accomodation was not what we expected. the room was clean at first but when we first took a shower there was no hot water even after telling them twice. the water was something between cold and warm. on second sight, the shower was rusty, the walls moldy and worst thing was sleeping right behind the front desk where you can hear everything. phone ringing the whole night, doors slamming and noisy neighbours. NO SLEEP WITHOUT EARPLUGS! The breakfast was quite allright, a little breakfast corner with all small packed things you can imagine, good coffee. So it's only a place for stopping by if you can't find anything else. The people are friendly but mainly uninterested and the prices are too high. We payed over 300 € for three nights for a double in the main season, which is a usual price for a different stay. Never again!
