Let's be realistic, this is a budget hotel at a motorway services and I think offered excellent value. Yes the rooms are a bit dated but they clean so I think some people are mistaking wear and tear with cleanliness. I think higher priced hotels could learn a lot off these guys. The staff were courteous and helpful, rooms were clean, facilities including decent size TV, free WiFi, free parking. Decent quality tea tray in the room (Yorkshire Tea) and there were even a couple of chocolates from the team as a little treat. Note. There is a service road for use by hotel guests to get you to the Southbound M5 and the staff will provide a map to get to it if required. Overall, for me it was only meant to be a bed for the night but I was pleasantly surprised.
