Hotel Villa Villoresi

Very special place with unique atmosphere. Nice pool and sitting area However the place is a bit rundown. mattress and linen are old, very small bath room. Poor breakfast buffet .

This hotel is very impressive and Christina and her staff were very friendly and helpful. The food offered by the hotel did seem quite expensive and our room was fairly small & awkward. I found the location of the hotel a bit difficult and the local area did not have many restuarants,The swimming Pool was excellent and the overall impression of the hotel more than compensated for any downsides. I would stay there again.

Wonderul hotel, was like going back in time. Staff helpful owner made you feel like you were part of her home. Little disappointed with room but even so a really lovely hotel. Food good

If you want a stay in a hotel which used to be a fortress then this is for you! Hotel Villa Velloresi is a lovely hotel set in large grounds including an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel boasts many wall/ceiling frescos as well as a very long terrace which over looks orange, lemon and lime trees. The staff and owner were very welcoming indeed and helpful throughout our stay. Recommend this hotel to all :-)

Convenient for train to Florence, charming hotel. Would definitely go back, we stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed much longer.
