ibis Esch Belval

Great location, clean, very nice staff, good wifi, dog-friendly.

It is a Ibis, so the room and the bathroom are quite small as per Ibis standard. The room was hot and stuffy, and the AC was not working, we tried everything. So we left the window open but nights were quite noisy, as there are a lot of restaurants, fast food outlets and a large pedestrian zone around; the motorway is also pretty close so at night, there is the occasional traffic noise (vehicles speeding). The hotel has no parking but the car can be parked at the shopping mall nearby (quite expensive, and access difficult when the mall is closed), or at the railway station parking (P+R), across the railway tracks (a bit less expensive, and you can easily access 24/7. Actually even unloading the luggage in front of the hotel is difficult as parking is not allowed (there are 2 parking places for "delivery" in front of the hotel but they are usually already taken, and you risk a fine there too), and the risk to get a fine is high (frequent police patrols, as warned by the hotel). This makes using this hotel if you come by car and have a lot of luggage quite difficult/risky).
