Red Nose Hostel with Self-Check In

location is helpful as it is in the old town and very near to the train and bus stations

the whole hostel is dark and dingy, nothing was really clean, and there is only one bathroom for the whole building. environment was unfriendly and I felt very unsafe. there is no sense of privacy or of comfort in the shared dorms - no curtains to give you privacy while you sleep, bunk beds way to close together so you are so close to the person next to you you may as well be sharing the bed with them. lockers are not free, and I hadn't been told this before, so I had nowhere to store my stuff safely. beds not very comfortable. The worst stay I have ever had in a hostel

This is a small and cozy hostel and I am usually staying there when I am going to Riga. This time (perhaps it was busy another part of the hostel, or just as a bonus for loyalty), they made a fantastic surprise to me: they upgraded me from a shared room to a single room... for free!! Thank you very much for this awesome surprise!!
