"Fabulous view; great food; better to stay here than in Taupo..."

This place is amazing. My tongariro crossing was cancelled due to weather but as soon as you walk into this place, you dont mind as the view is fabulous. Food was great too in the restaurant.

Duvet too hot & thick..but minor issue. The place is lovely.

This was a lovely location. We stayed in a two bed apartment that had sweeping views over the bay. Facilities were very good. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very nice, the staff were all nice and friendly.

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The highlight was sitting out on the balconies and enjoying the sweeping views of Lake Taupo - truly a fantastic place to relax and unwind. We stayed in a townhome, which was perfect for our group of four. Everything is provided just as in your own home: a fully stocked kitchen, living room with television, dining area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, plus a washing machine and dishwasher. It really feels like renting a proper vacation home where you could comfortably stay for a long time. We were only there for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Another standout was the on-site restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner there, with excellent food and that same stunning lake view. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on the south shore of Lake Taupo. It’s about a 10-minute drive to the nearest town with shops, and roughly 25 minutes to the parking area for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, if that’s on your itinerary.

Everything was excellent, with just two small caveats. There is no direct access to the lake from the property, which would have been a nice bonus. In addition, while there is a swimming pool and we did use it, it is located in a semi-indoor concrete space and is not especially inviting compared to the beautiful natural surroundings.
