Hillside Motel

The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful with suggestions on things to see and do in the Saint John area. Although the room was somewhat dated, it was good to have more up-to-date flooring and the walls were freshly painted. The room was very clean and the other guests were quiet and respectful. We enjoyed the view from our room and the fact that we could open windows on both sides of the room to enjoy the fresh ocean air.

The windows were a little old and didn't lock very well, although that didn't adversely affect our stay.

L'ensemble de la salle de bain : tous les appareils sanitaires (toilette, douche et lavabo) beaucoup trop vétustes. Le manque de fourniture : 1 seul mini-savon pour 2 personnes et du papier de toilette beaucoup trop mince et friable. L'ensemble du mobilier en général.

Price was fair, a little high for an off-season rate in my opinion. Plus booking.com quoted $81 and the staff charged $134

There was no control of the heat and it was ridiculously hot in the room. I was there with my pregnant partner awaiting a bed in labor and delivery. It was clean but it smelled very musty. The king size bed was rock hard. The shower barely had any water coming out the sprayer

Very friendly owner, good location, comfy bed. Coffee maker in room. Quiet area. Good price.

It would have been nice to have access to the terrace overlooking Fairville.

Manager/owner was very helpful

The room. Not enough lighting. Bathroom fan was noisy. TV remote didn't work. No glasses. Room was small. Very cottage cabin feel. Poor value.

Bed was comfortable

Very dated, lights were poor and electrical sockets barely held a plug. No coffee and only bathroom accessories was a bar of soap. Never seen such thin toilet paper

There was no breakfast, not expected. There was no coffee in the room

My room was under another room - noisy people - I could hear them walking around above me, flushing toilet, etc

Last minute geboekt en wij waren blij dat we een bed hadden in Saint John. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar.

We hadden een compleet appartement, maar het was er niet schoon, één nacht was dus meer dan voldoende. Kamers in verschillende pandjes en het terrein was niet goed onderhouden (veel kapot).
