Staff at the front office was friendly.

Room wasn’t cleaned. Half drank Pepsi in the fridge (which didn’t keep anything cold). Only a half full travel size shampoo in the bathroom. No hair dryer.

This place was so bad! We paid $123 USD for one night for each room at this place. The door's handle was broken, and the bolt for the lock wouldn't turn all the way into the slot, so I was a little nervous all night because the door wasn't fully locked. There was no chain lock for the chain slot either. In the bathroom, there was no soap at all! We had to use the dish soap from the kitchenette for hand washing and body washing. There was one bottle of shampoo, but it was more than half empty. We arrived about 15 mins before the office closed; otherwise I would have gone to the office to get the proper supplies. One of the entrances is up a very steep dirt road, and my minivan almost didn't make it. Would NOT recommend.

Sheets are excellent.

Service was unimaginably bad.There was no one at reception in the morning.No one was picking up call.They mentioned that they have tea and coffee,but it was locked in the office room and the room was locked. Parking space was very bad and risky.No one was there to take care of the gues

It was clean and friendly! Easy to get to main attractions in St John’s. Manager was very friendly and helpful on local things.

There was no breakfast. We had our own food and ate in our room before we left at 6:45am. The bed was large and the mattress was great. The bedding was clean. The room was relatively clean. Good view of the city. Parking in front of the room. Windows to allow the air to flow thru. Easy commute to the ferry and downtown.

The motel is tired. It could really use an update. The roof must be leaking because the ceiling has water stains on it, even tho the room appears to be freshly painted. The flooring is hard surfaced and fairly new. The mattress was firm. The sheets and blankets were clean. The bedspread was old and had cigarette burn marks - I removed it and placed it in the dresser - the rest of the bedding was good. The bathroom is original and really needs an upgrade. There were no toiletries except for half a bottle of sample shampoo and half a roll of toilet paper.

Staff was ok.

Old and decrepit. No a/c or basic amenities.
