Hotel Ilebal Cuernavaca Centro - un lugar con encanto

Nice place with good pool. Biggest downside, while only a very short distance from the City center, it was a mountain to climb. Also at night the trip felt scary. Obviously if you have a car these issues go away.

Loved the hotel and the city of Cuernavaca. Would stay there again!

We stayed here during May 2015.... The room was very clean when we arrived. They offered a very delicious complimentary "European style" breakfast for our first morning there. The staff was mostly friendly, the pool was clean, and the hotel is quaint and cozy. The downsides for us included the hard mattress, the lack of air conditioning which made the room very hot and humid at times, and one or two rude, or judgmental comments from one staff member in particular. Overall, great place for the price, specially if you plan on staying out being a tourist most of the day.

I loved Hotel Ilebal! It's lots of fun and the staff are great. The breakfast baskets are a lovely touch - wander around the pool and set yourself up.

Dogs barking,,hotel is on rampa.small swimming pool. Couertsy simple breakfast in the room.cafe cold.no elevator.there is parking area.with taxi 40 pesos to bus station in selva.there is case and refrigirator.really all during nights the dogs are barking nonstop

We slept there only one night. Everything was fine. A good, inexpensive hotel.

If you are looking for a simple, inexpensive, non-luxury place that's very close to downtown, I don't think you could do better. Great service from the front desk, clean basic room, tv, comfy bed, etc. No restaurant, but the Hotel Orense up the road a bit is pretty good. The hotel is a 10-15 walk from downtown and the first 3/4 is dark and windywith bad sidewalks. No biggie, but if you're not comfortable with that, grab a taxi - they're very cheap.

I made a confirmed reservation - upon arrival the hotel was full - I was charged the night anyway and upon clarification request with hotel.com there is simply NO answer at all. good luck!

Yes it isn't in a good location compared to hotels right in the town center. But it is easy to take a cab to the center and the money you will save in comparison to staying in quality hotels in the center, is well worth the stay here. Best option for under 75$.

The hotel is very unique and great lines and architecture. Every one of the rooms seems unique and you feel like you are on the side of a cliff. No A/C so if that is an issue, then don't come here. A good ten minute walk to the village STRAIGHT up the hills, so bring tennis shoes.
