Palazzo Montefusco

Fantastic location with a great view over the Main Street. Very friendly and helpful staff and the room was clean and pleasant. Quite a small room without much room for luggage and the shower wasn’t great but these are small issues. Overall a great stay for the price and highly recommended.

This was not a good experience at Palazzo Montefusco. Our room was directly over a bar and we were unable to sleep until about 1 am. We complained and after 2 nights, we were moved to Palazzo Tritone which was fabulous. The hotel failed to provide a price reduction for the 2 nights of poor sleep; and worse, in checking my credit card statement I noticed an additional charge of $251, even though I had prepaid for the rooms.

Everything was perfect, from check-in all the way to check out. Loved the smart TV that helps with unwinding after a long day exploring. The room has a large sofa enough for two to sit and a huge bathroom. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

Some minor nitpicks - it would be good if the shower area in the toilet had doors to stop water from spraying all over the floor and the soundproofing could be improved as we could hear the crowd from our room.

The hotel is located in a nice older building but is very modern, it's small so the attention feels personalized. Since we got in late we must've been the last to check in that day so as I walked up the stairs they greeted me by name. It's just one of a few things that occupy this big building yet it's very quiet. As for the room, very nice. We were right in the main tourist area but with the balcony door shut we couldn't hear a thing. Good breakfast and a fantastic location! Took us about 10 minutes to walk from the train station.

The only tricky part is the walk up from street level to the first floor with bags. From there they have an elevator if your room is on the second floor. But they are more than willing to help you carry them so not really a big deal!

Very clean the triple room was a bit small overpriced for a 3 person room located in alley close to town Square

Great staff. Friendly. Right in the middle of all the action. It was an amazing honey moon.

The service was excellent! The check in process and breakfast was exceptional.

The property is on a beautiful but noisy street. Many bars and restaurants and we heard noise until 1:30 am and clean up and set up of businesses at 7 am. Also, there are 30 steps along a staircase to climb up to reach the reception area. No elevator, but can be a bit tiresome for some. Other than that the service and cleanliness is exceptional.

Sorrento is not a huge town, but there are dozens of hotels. Staying right in the heart of the old city was so convenient. It can get noisy at times, but the location made all the difference for us. The ocean view is just down the street. The staff are more than accommodating. Always ready to help with bags or answer a question. Highly recommended.
