We only stayed one night but we would have stayed all week because it was a very nice place,very clean and we weren’t expecting a cooked breakfast in the morning but it was all included which was so reasonable for the price and was just lovely. We had the best cream tea ever in Devon sat in the tranquil garden it’s a must and would recommend this hotel anytime.thanks Richard and Katja Howell
Excellent property run by lovely people the room was spotless breakfast was top quality would definitely stay there again the price for what is quite an expensive area was well worth it. Will be back.
Nice people and good service but unfortunately the bedroom was disappointing; the mattress was old and uncomfortable, the shower was little more than a dribble and everything just needed updating.
Very hospitable. Great service. Comfortable beds. Very cosy. Thick soft towels. Good breakfast. Warm welcome when we arrived.
Very Helpful
Even though the room was comfortable, once the electric heating was deployed, there appeared to be heating available in the shared toilet and shower room. The breakfast was good, but the coffee insipid. Albeit it was a pleasurable stay, and the host congenial. The only place the Wifi worked was in the main dining room. The property is quaint, but anyone over 6ft would have problems standing up straight in the main dining area/tearoom.

A beautiful property. We only stayed for one night but it was a comfortable stay. The cream tea and breakfast were lovely. Lovely host and we were made very welcome. Would recommend to others.
