Breakas Beach Resort

It was an experience to stay at the huts! It’s something to at least experience once. The rooms were cool enough at nights and I didn’t notice any mosquitos which was perfect! (I usually get bitten by mosquitos within seconds! Loved the bathroom. There were some amazing food options on the menu, especially the entrée! My favourite one was the muscles dish! Yum! The staff were lovely! The drinks were amazing and generous!

The breakfast buffet didn’t feel as clean as I expected. I had to keep going through cups and plates to see if I could find one without marks… and just overall, things didn’t look clean. We still ate from it, and we were ok. The breakfast was very very basic, it was the worst breakfast I've ever had while travelling. There were fruits available, but it felt like they weren't fresh and they were prepared hours earlier. Everything takes forever here. So whatever time you’re going to get hungry, add 30 minutes on top of that. There is no internet in the huts. The drinks take forever to get prepared here. Make sure you leave enough time to get to the airport, it can take them up to half an hour to help you take your suitcases out of the hut and to the lobby.

Old room and dirty bathroom. No air con , No TV, No internet provided except in the lobby. No friendly staff at reception. Poor quality breakfast, it’s a joke: couple of local fruits, the rest is imported from Australia, even the honey or Jams were from Woolies 👎 i even suspected the coffee not to be local.

Beautiful position in a coastal bay with infinity pool. Relaxed atmosphere with chilled music playing.

Service was lacking. Staff very glum. 11/2 hours late with check in. Dining staff in the evening was disorganised, forgot to take our order.

The pool was great. Lovely private beach. The location was good. Breakfast was well appointed.

The water was either scalding hot or ice cold, making it impossible to have a nice shower (despite discussing this twice with management). The shower also pooled to the point of almost flooding. There was a huge clump of black hair on the bricks in the shower (left there by cleaners). The service in the bar/restaurant was essentially non-existent and moved at a glacial pace. Staff were just completely uninterested. We were sat down for dinner and waited at least 10 mins for menus before having to ask for them. We paid $270 (with genius discount) for a night there and felt really ripped off.

Very basic breakfast, you could order bacon and eggs for additional payment.

Basic food, things were not topped up , coffee machine didn't work well. Staff did not have good communication skills. Check in at 2 pm, room was not ready.
