We chose this hotel because they had an indoor pool and we had an eight-year-old granddaughter with us in town for a college graduation and when we checked in the afternoon, they told us the pool was closed due to maintenance issue. I understand that’s not their fault but I would receive emails asking me to check in early. I should’ve received an email warning me that the pool was closed.

Loved the location, access to skywalk from the hotel, high ceilings, staff and breakfast.

The pull out sofa should have had mattresses replaced years ago, it was dirty and springs were pretty much done. No plushness at all, worst pull out bed ever. The price was kind of hefty for quite outdated furniture and bathroom.

The ice machine located next to my room and someone filled a cooler at 4 am was unpleasant. The staff at the front desk was unsympathetic and rude. The manager helped to clean up the mess that she had made but I am extremely disappointed how rude the front desk person was and the accusations she made. She should not be allowed in a customer facing role.

If you park with the hotel there is a 30.00 charge per night for using their parking garage. That was unknown to me when I booked, and I wasn’t prepared to spend that extra 120.00 on parking 😬. The day we checked out we were slightly panicked about where we would park for the rest of the day (we were there for our Son’s national Mock Trial championship) as we had to stay until 4:30 minimum and check out was at 12. We found a parking garage for maximum 15.00 a day literally right around the corner from the hotel. Wish we had known. If you’re staying a while I recommend pulling into the hotel loading area to unload and then parking at the 501 locust st parking garage. It’s a short 3 minute walk from the hotel and you can load up to leave the same way.
