Needs to be updated. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Needs to include some type of cooked eggs and more protein. It was mostly unhealthy sugary carbs.

Pepi’s restaurant, located right in the hotel, is in a league of its own. Dining in the Antlers Room feels like true five star European hospitality. The food, service, and ambiance rival restaurants I’ve experienced around the world. After skiing, the bar is lively and welcoming, with great music, a fun crowd, and a menu that makes it easy to settle in and relax. Founded in 1964, the property carries an authentic Austrian charm that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped into St. Anton while still being in the heart of Vail. The on site ski and apparel boutique is beautifully curated with high end gear, and the ski rental shop offers top tier equipment that serious skiers will appreciate. The spa facilities, including sauna, steam room, and fitness center, are perfect for unwinding after long days on the slopes. What truly sets this hotel apart is the people. The staff are consistently attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. If you have the chance to meet Sheika Gramshammer, you’ll understand why she is considered one of the defining figures of Vail. Her decades of leadership, hospitality, and community involvement, alongside her late husband Pepi, helped shape the spirit of the village.
