"We had an enjoyable stay in a Hotel steeped in History and were made to feel very welcome."

Good choice of hot and cold Breakfasts. Had an Evening Meal with Guest that all enjoyed

My Wife would have appreciated being made aware that it was a Four-Poster Bed at the time of booking, as this would not be her preference. A comfy Bed, nonetheless. An extended selection of sachet drinks would have been appreciated, to include de-caff and hot chocolate

The evening meal was beautifully cooked and presented and the beer and wine were a reasonable price!

For the price of the room I would have liked a simple Nespresso machine.

"Lovely Inn and would stay again if I could be guaranteed a better mattress/bed."

Loved the luxury traditional vibe and guest spaces at the Inn. Quality dining but with a small menu. Staff were outstanding!

Our bed mattress was well worn with imprints of previous guests. Bed was also on a lean (reflective of uneven floor) but the bed issue could be easily rectified. Steep prices for drinks and food but I suppose you are paying for the quality facilities. Also an unexpected service charge.

"Cosy and perfect."

The hotel was very comfortable and well thought out. There was street parking in the village and a small hotel carpark. The restaurant food was amazing! The staff were a delight.

Pot holes to the car park.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und ein Restaurantbesuch am Abend ist absolut empfehlenswert. Das Haus ist aussergewöhnlich. Ein Auto ist erleichtert die Erkundung der Region.
