The Bent Arms

Amazing food and a great stop for anyone hiking or running from London to Brighton.

The staff were helpful and the food good; although the bed was comfortable, the bedroom and the bedroom corridor were very tired and needing refurbishment; our impression of our room was sealed by there not being enough hooks for the curtains to hang properly.

Very pleasant traditional pub hospitality.

I love coming to stay here, it’s one of my favourite places and I try to come every year. The proprietor is charming and funny and often feeds my dog sausages! The atmosphere is great.

Place had loads of character, but rooms need attention, tied and run down

The pub was old and very attractive and the food was great. The room was querky but clean and everything worked. Out stay was spoiled by a very uncomfortable mattress.

Staff friendly, good breakfast, room clean. Whole property needs a refurb but undoubtedly has charm.

Great stay as always, best accommodation option in the area for our remote workers. Rooms are dated but very clean. A fantastic breakfast offering!

Great staff, lovely character interior to the bar/dining area. Very enjoyable cooked breakfast. Safe, free carpark to the rear of the Bent Arms Inn.
