The young lady on counter at check in was lovely. Really warm welcome and a credit to the team. The room is like a small apartment (big for hotel room!!) Freshly renovated and to a great standard. Breakfast was delicious and again, staff were so nice.

No haggis!! lol

The staff in both cafes were lovely and very helpful. Our bedroom (room 8) was a lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed.

Unfortunately our first two nights (Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th) we were woken during the night by a very amorous couple in a room above or next door, you couldn’t tell, but such a shame there’s no sound proofing!

Nice, spacious and clean apartament. Really comfortable bathroom. Patio outside. Complimentary coffee and snacks. Good breakfasts in the Brambles Cafe. Also the town is very small and beautiful, located by the water.

Staff were really lovely and very attentive. Bedroom was spotlessly clean, comfortable and cosy. Fantastic roll top bath and nice hot shower. Had a great stay in a beautiful location!

As with all UK hotels, the green fire safety light was very bright at night. The hotel thoughtfully provide eye masks, but I would recommend taking your own if you have one which is comfortable.
