Brampton Guest House

Guest house was great value, perfect location & friendly welcome. Within walking distance of train station, sea front, pier & entertainment. Good bus route for Zoo & visiting other areas such as Torquay. There was lots on locally including a funfair, entertainment, which was ideal for children. Due to the cheap price, we weren't expecting a premium room however it was looking a little tired and dusty in areas & could do with a freshen up. There is a local multi storey car park nearby however at night it appears to be a gathering point for local youth's, which was quite noisy early hours. Could have been a one off however.

Loved this Guest House. The new owner (April 2019) Marina is a perfect host & is making improvements on the property, very helpful and also in assisting you to your every need. The Guest House is perfectly situated within Paignton. 3 mins walk to the Beach/Pier, 2/3 mins walk to Paignton main high street, 4 min walk to Paignton Train/Bus station. Will definitely be staying again. Wishing Marina & her Son Louis every success with The Brampton Guest House 😄

Completely rundown property. Bed was as hard as a rock. Shower was covered in mildew. I brought it to the owner’s attention and she insisted it was simply the grout. She finally cleaned it and apologized to me for its condition. That area of Paignton is a bit dodgy.

Good cheap B&B in Paignton. The room was pretty small, but that was reflected in the price. Only a couple of hundred metres from the beach and pier, and a similar distance from the train and bus stations. Good breakfast, friendly owners. At the time I stayed, May 2018, it was up for sale, so if this is quite an old review by the time you see it then you might want to give more weight to more recent reviews - every owner puts their own mark on a place, and it might change for better or worse under new ownership.

Excellent B&B in a great location and the owners are very friendly and helpful, very comfortable beds and excellent breakfast sat right by the window for a great view. 2 minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to public transport. Can't wait to visit again.

Needed a quick stopover. I had a room which shared a bathroom with 2 others, didn't bother me though. This was inexpensive, clean and had breakfast thrown in too.

very nice people run the place. clean and close to beach and train/bus station. a lot to do here. hotel is a little bit crowded at times, but rates are good and you can leave order for breakfast brought to the room. for budget stay it is good - for families or singles.

Een zeer gezellig en huiselijke B&B. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, propere kamers met alle basiscomfort aanwezig. Heerlijk ontbijt in huiselijke sfeer. Prijs/Kwaliteit is zeer geslaagd!!! De ligging is ideaal om de engelse riviera te ontdekken. Strand, haven met ferry naar Brixham of Thorquay, treinstation, busstation, winkels, alles op wandelafstand. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
