Lovely location great little place will definitely stay again.

Kept forgetting about low ceiling in bathroom :)

Clean and tidy. Very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and big. Great to have a sofa.

Nothing, however some grab rails in bathroom would have been handy for getting in and out of shower.

The cottage had a warm and homely atmosphere with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed the perfumes of the flowering shrubs and watched the birds from the outdoor seating areas. The country kitchen and large lounge room occupied the ground floor while the upstairs bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were comfortable and spacious. Our host thoughtfully provided some supplies including milk and cereals. It was the perfect spot for a week long stay while visiting family nearby. Just a short drive to nearby villages of Market Weighton and Pocklington, and closer still, Langlands Garden Centre has a cafe and serves excellent coffee. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Spacious room with double bed at the top of some very steep stairs. Couldn't get the heating to work or the towel rail and it was a cold night. Had to rely on a very powerful fan heater.

It was very well equipped, comfortable and very clean. Everything was really good.

Comfortable simple accommodation as expected, we have stayed before a number of times. Good parking and easy to be independent. All facilities needed.

Unfortunately the shower had a small leak from the base over the floor which we mentioned on leaving. This happened on our second day of three. The outer door would not close so that made me a little nervous of security.

The very comfy room with everything you could possibly want great paddock for walking the dog and a out door dog washing station if they got muddy .
