The hotel is in a historic crossroads in the centre of the city of Luxembourg on a route from Paris to Trier. The building itself dates back to the early 18th century and the rooms we had were spacious with views in two directions. It is adjacent to the art gallery and has a good restaurant and bar with welcoming staff. It is in a lively area of the city.

The down side of a building this old is that it is difficult for them to add in a lift to all floors. To get to our rooms we had to go up a flight of stairs, then take a lift for one floor then ascend another flight of stairs to get to the room. On the evening we were there, there was an evening marathon through the centre of the city and although this added positively to the atmosphere of the area, it did mean that there was some street noise until quite late (midnight). Also there was no parking as the nearby streets were closed off for the marathon.

Lovely staff and great little hotel - so nice to stay in a hotel that isn't 'corporate' and has it's own personality

Gezellig kleinschalig hotel, prachtig gelegen in het centrum van de bovenstad. Comfortabele en nette suites. Uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Goede bedden en een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt naar keuze in het restaurant.

Aangezien het hotel midden in het uitgaanscentrum is gelegen is er 's avonds en 's nachts redelijk veel straat rumoer hoorbaar.

The location is great. The lobby is open 24x7, which is nice when you're out late. The staff went above and beyond.

Our room was two levels with an additional step down to the bathroom. The bed was ok to get into on one side, but difficult on the other side due to the sloped ceiling. The stairs and step down made middle of the night bathroom trips challenging. The artwork in our room was barely short of pornographic. I often video call my son from my hotel rooms to give him a tour. I couldn't do that in this room due to the artwork.
