Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cleveland by IHG

Great hotel

Arrived early and having to wait til after 3pm to check in. For a small town hotel, I've always gotten way better service from a Big city hotel. There should have been a room available. Your cleaning staff needs to do a better and more efficient job, but that's a management issue. Especially since the desk clerk was a girl still in high school. Someone with Real World experience should be at the front desk.

Breakfast great and checking in was pleasant

The staff was super nice. The room was just ok, nothing fancy. Smelled a little musty and the ac definitely needed to be cleaned and a filter change. Our view can only be described as poverty/ possible meth lab? For what it was, I felt it was way overpriced but I guess everything is right now. Its the best Cleveland has to offer.

The hotel itself was nice and a I didn't mind being asked about my service dogs when I checked in, I appreciate it given all the fakes. But, when they start questioning my integrity I no longer felt welcome. So I checked out a day early and ate the cost of the room.

I only reverse for 5 minutes try to cancel got charged full price. Drove by the place they had plenty of guest for the night they didn't need to steal my money. Coming from a man with 6 kids 170 would go a little way at the grocery store.

I'll never stay at another holiday inn

Your typical holiday inn express. The doors are insanely loud when fellow guests are shutting them. Most of the guests are either rude or unaware how loud the door slamming is when they let it go and do not control it. All Holiday Inn express would need to do is adjust the door closure, mechanism or put in some kind of cushioning around the inside of the frame or at the very least put up a sign that says, please control your door to avoid disrupting other patrons. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and Holiday Inn express is the absolute worst with these unneeded loud doors.
