Price/quality ratio - 10/10. In my extensive travel history, I've only given a 10 rating once before, and this hotel almost reached that level. If my room hadn't overlooked the parking lot, it would have received a perfect 10. Excellent location, cleanliness, and most importantly, a reasonable price. Free parking, excellent Wi-Fi, a clean swimming pool and jacuzzi on the premises – everything is quite close to ideal for the price.

Our neighbor in 207A-the connecting room- were extremely loud at night from 8- 10 pm. The connecting door lets A LOT of noise through. Luckily we bought a sound machine but they were so loud I had to even use headphones with noise to drown them out until they quieted down. We would go to bed around 830/9 due to our time change. I would expect others around us to be awake but they were very loud and the door let too much noise through. I know this isn’t anything the property could control-just noisy neighbors. I wish the door could be more sound proof.

My husband booked this place through Expedia according to the photos he saw on there. Let me tell you, they are using a combination of highly doctored photos and beach photos of OTHER RESORTS to sell these. Upon arrival to our two bedroom LUXERY RESORT we found a nasty old smelly broken run down resort NOT on the beach. In fact it’s across the highway. The condo was not a two bedroom, it was two separate units that could not be unlocked from the joining door. Our four young kids would have been on their own in this sketchy place. The smoke detectors were missing from the walls, it was dirty and smelled. The room view was not as stated. It was owned by a random guy, not the hotel. Nobody would help us. We left immediately to find a new hotel as it was 9pm and to not ruin our one family vacation. We were scammed. We never stayed the night here. We left upon seeing the room and immediately requested a refund and contacted Expedia. Only thing Expedia did was allow the guy to dodge their phone calls and deny a polite request for a refund. They denied us a refund. We lost nearly $7,000 for a 5 night, new years week stay!!! Do yourself a favor and stay away!! I hope someone finally takes this place down off the online market. We were absolutely scammed! After reading these bad reviews on here I am so glad we cut our losses and spent another small fortune on a nice place last minute.

Room had some maintenance issues. Bath tub caulking Bath exhaust fan Bath dated plumbing fixtures Kitchen dated plumbing fixtures Cabinets could use upgrade Tv to small in living room Furniture dated Bamboo drapes in bedroom/living room dated no privacy at night see thru bamboo There's more but those are major improvements to upsell the room.

We usually are Marriott people. However we do enjoy the banyan resort. Right from the start the staff are always willing to help We wanted to be in F building close to the pool and beach. They made it happen! We needed a few little things and they were right there to deliver. My wife loves to relax and read Perfect because they have a small library with lots of choices. We would walk down the street to Fred’s to watch football as our resort was so close. Just a few suggestions. Please open the pool and hot tub area earlier than 9 am . Also the parking for the lower buildings is terrible. There are only 4 spaces or you are parking on a busy street. Overall a good place to stay
