Great location, with the train station within 5 minutes walk. We booked here after finding accomodation in Amsterdam to be very overpriced and absolutely loved Zaandam. The shopping and all the interesting “LEGO” buildings were also a highlight. It felt like a contrast to the overcrowded streets of Amsterdam, and wish we spent more time walking around as there was such an atmosphere and wonderful shopping. Also they had the best shower we’ve had in the longest time.

We loved that we had sink and microwave but we had no cleaning items such as dishwashing soap so dirty dishes sat until replaced/collected by housekeeping. Staffing here felt a bit strange in that there’s no reception desk, and only one person around to assist with the self-check in kiosks. Other times we couldn’t locate anyone.

Der kurze Weg zum Bahnhof war super ! Von da aus waren es nur 12min bis nach Amsterdam. Self Check in war super .

Die Möbel sind sehr abgewohnt . Das Faltrollo war defekt . Die Matratzen ziemlich weich aber das war für meinen Rücken perfekt :) Dusche läuft schlecht ab . Frühstück für 18€ ist schon sehr teuer für eine schlechte Qualität. Am zweiten Tag waren wir beim Frühstück ( gegen 8.45uhr !!!) und es war fast alles leer und wurde auch nur sehr dürftig aufgefüllt ( kein Toast, keine Crossaints , keine Gläser , keine Milch !) Mehrere Gäste standen vor dem Buffet und trotz Nachfrage hatten die Mitarbeiter die Ruhe weg! Das war wirklich für den Preis nicht schön ! Vielleicht geht man besser ein Stück weiter nach dem Bahnhof. Da ist ein Backshop ;)
