The Olde Windmill Inn

Our stay at the old windmill was excellent the food was great and very delicious. Our room was comfortable and very clean, The Old Windmill was warm and very friendly. Would definitely be returning.

Beautiful quiet location, Plenty of space outside on the patio and also inside . Staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was very good with an over fill carpark. Food was very good and breakfast was good value and very nice, If anything, the bedrooms were a little on the small side and rooms need a bit of freshening up. All in All we were very happy with our stay and would certainly go again,

Very friendly & helpful staff al round.Nothing was to much trouble.Comfy room nice choice on menu & great Woodforde ales. Would stay again.

Really nice property, stayed in room 5 which is above the music room, with a band playing until 11

The room was a good size the bathroom was clean but there were spiders in there and also in the bedroom when lying on the bed you could see cobwebs. On the other hand the food was good pub food

Very comfortable stay, in a spacious room with a clean en-suite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good bar and nice food. Here for overnight stay en-route and would definitely return and maybe for a longer stay.

Staff welcoming friendly helpful polite. Room de luxe spacious clean , good bathroom with shower , laundry clean. Restaurant extensive menu , good service. Breakfast good selection next morning great.

The room was average, could do with sprucing up a little. The bathroom had at least 8 spiders in it on the ceiling so it can’t have been dusted for some time. We had food which was good but out of stock of a lot of the menu when we ate at 7:30pm. The pool table is expensive at £1 a go when it doesn’t always release the balls, has a slant on the table and the cushion is creased, not to mention the room is too small in places even for a short cue. We were told at check in that breakfast was at 7 but it actually started at 7:30am. We had prepaid for breakfast but found that not everything on the breakfast menu was included and there would be an addition surcharge for certain options. The place has character and the staff are friendly but it could have just been a little better.

Every member of staff that we interacted with were helpful, friendly and courteous. The room was lovely and so was breakfast. Very dog friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing. Expected just a room with en-suite, but we had a small apartment. Excellent and comfortable. Had dinner also excellent. Great place to stay
