Great place to stay with car parking. Has a pool. Only self catering available, not breakfasts

We’ve been truly spoiled by the warm hospitality and great value of four other accommodations we stayed at in Sicily, which made this one feel especially disappointing. It felt like every effort was made to cut costs—there was no soap, no dishwasher tablets, and even used toilet paper left from previous guests—while at the same time trying to charge extra for every little thing. The strong, synthetic perfume sprayed on the curtains was unpleasant and made us question the cleanliness. To make matters worse, the receptionist, Tony, lied to us—likely with the blessing of his manager(but im not sure)—which left us feeling misled and unwelcome. Perhaps if we hadn’t experienced such genuinely hospitable places before, we wouldn’t have noticed the lack of care and hospitality here as much.

The accommodation was amazing and the staff was lovely. I asked them to help me organise a surprise for my boyfriend birthday and they really did a very great job. My boyfriend was highly impressed. Thank you for all your help

Really hard to find. Unbelievably, there are 2 identically named addresses in the same village, 300m metres apart. Google maps does not recognise the correct one.

The staff was nice but could not solve the many issues with the facility.

The kitchen did not work. The stove had gas and the house smelled of it but it would not light to cook on. The power went out and I was told that you can't have the air conditioner and the washing machine on at the same time. The air conditioner should not be on in every room because they have a specific amount of energy for each unit. This was told to me after the power when out not before I purchased a level four accommodations.

Residence Margi made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. You do need a swim cap for the pool (a requirement), and you should absolutely use the driving instructions the hotel gives you so you don’t get stuck in an alleyway.

We stayed in Residence dei Margi 3 nights. The staff was great especially Tony who was very helpful and assisted all our requests. We had 2 bedrooms suite with a terrace next to the pool. The apartment was very spacious and clean. It included a small kitchen, dishwasher and a washing machine. Very convinent for family of 4-6. The pool was great with nice views. Parking is free. The area also offered few nice restaurants and 20 min drive from Messina which is nice city in Sicily. We drove thru the south of Italy and took the ferry to Messina. Highly recommend the drive due beautiful scenery along the road. While staying in the residence sei Margi, we visited Syracuse, Catania and Taoromina. All beautiful touristic sites. Driving in Sicily is generally easy but when you get inside the little towns with small roads, it gets challenging. Make sure you are confident with your driving skills before renting a car. However, Sicily in general is driveable compared to Amalfi coast where we spent a week before thay. I dont recommend dricing there.
