It is a very nice place, the owner is very friendly and helpful, Dave gave us some nice recommendations to eat and ensured a pleasant stay.

La camera era molto spaziosa, così come il bagno, enorme! Il nostro host è stato super gentile e ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni necessarie per i ristoranti in zona e qualche suggerimento sul Kruger. Il gate di Phalaborwa è proprio a 5 min di macchina da lì! Colazione buona!

Het was gewoon top. Leuke locatie, vlak bij het Krugerpark en de Spar. Accommodatie lag er mooi onderhouden bij. En de manager Dave: gastvrij, vriendelijk, behulpzaam en altijd goed gehumeurd. Hij geeft je het gevoel dat je de enige gast bent.

The lodge is close to th Phalabowa gate to the Kruger Park. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure the comfort of their guests.

The beds and bed linen are old and uncomfortable.

Our stay at Sunbird Lodge was fantastic. Its location in a tropical garden and proximity to Phalaborwa Gate made the two days we spent there relaxing and enjoyable. The absolute best thing was the host Dave, kind and caring, always ready to share a talk and a laugh. He booked us game drives and gave tips on navigating the Kruger ourselves. Thank you Dave for an excellent stay!

Convenient location in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Beautiful , peaceful garden setting. Safe and spacious parking. Host was excellent - so helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent!
