Coombe Abbey Hotel

The hotel was amazing staff were very helpful The grounds were beautiful Little extras like staff coming to the room to see if we need extra towels and biscuits

The presseco didn’t arrive at the room when I asked but I was refunded and given a drink to compensate for this

A marvellous place so classical and attractive. Food was great and breakfast was very tasty.

The location

The staff were rubbish. Couldn't do their jobs. Had no idea about GF. Didn't process my refund correctly. Missed off £27 even though I asked had all 3 been done. Yes she said. I had to go back to get it corrected so I went tonthe front of the queue as their mistake nit mine. Only to be abused bybother ppl in the queue. Music blaring all night right under my window. Smoke drifting through. Cleaners were cery rude. I said morning. Nothing. No acknowledgement. I had been looking forwardcto staying and it wsscawfil

Character, historical and location, set in beautiful grounds. Restaurant good, staff friendly and great service.

A bit tired in area’s. We upgraded our room, but no shower although there was a lovely roll top bath. Internet poor. Iron in the room damaged a pair of trousers when ironing as the board and iron had brown sticky marks on them. Informed receptionist on check out but no compensation offered just an apology. Hopefully it is replace before the next guests.

Decor is starting to look very tired and the carpet on the main stairs really lets the building down - needs sorting
