Hotel Regatta Cartagena

La ubicación está frente a la playa y en una zona segura para caminar y movilizarse por la ciudad.

Se pueden mejorar los ascensores porque son pequeños para el número de pisos y habitaciones y eso hace que sea lento el desplazamiento en el hotel.

Los trabajadores son muy amables. La playa está al frente fácil de ir, cerca de muchos restaurantes y bares. El desayuno es bufet variable y rico. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas.

Buena ubicación, cerca de comercios, restaurantes y zona de ocio.

El alojamiento requiere una actualización, ya que se encuentra bastante deteriorado. A pesar de haber elegido una habitación con muy buenas vistas, considero que las instalaciones necesitan renovarse o, al menos, recibir un mejor mantenimiento para estar a la altura de lo que se espera. El desayuno resulta bastante pobre. Ofrecen zumos de sobre, algo que sorprende en una ciudad donde la fruta natural y tropical es fácilmente accesible. Que el hotel no disponga de ningún zumo natural y que el café sea de calidad regular deja mucho que desear. En general, considero que el precio no se corresponde con las comodidades y servicios que ofrece el alojamiento. Sería conveniente revisar estos aspectos e implementar mejoras para que la experiencia esté acorde con el coste.

I like the hotel Regatta, this is the second time that I stayed in the hotel, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and clean, the ocean view is excellent. If I come again I will stay in the same hotel Regatta.

Good location, spacious room, good view

1. The room was too basic: - there wasn’t a hair dryer - there wasn’t a mini-bar - there wasn’t a guide book or anything with info about Cartagena, activities or about the hotel itself 2. The building doesn’t seem to be maintained or renovated properly. The walls, counters and surfaces look old and kind of broken. The bathroom door didn’t close well because it was misaligned. 3. The hotel doesn’t have a proper space for taxis to stop and leave guests. It’s just a small improvised space. 4. There was construction work being done at the beach in front of the hotel. Of course this is out of control of the hotel owners and staff. However, it’d be appreciated if they provide the information about this in advance so that guests are not surprised when they see there won’t be a beach just in front (for some people the fact that the beach is in front is one of the reasons to choose this hotel).
