Hotel Riviera & Maximilians

Very clean and the staff was professional and competent. Also, on site parking which isn't always available in this part of Europe.

When we arrived and saw that yellow old house by the road our impression was that we had made a mistake. How wrong we were! What a beautiful hotel! We had a room in the mansion that had a breathtaking view of the ocean and was very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind. Lunch and breakfast outdoors in the terrace with that amazing view were experiences in themselves. There is access to the ocean via an elevator from the hotel to a concrete platform where there are towels, beach recliners and shades. If you want to swim you go in the water via concrete stairs. There is a bar in the lido. Easy parking in the hotel. Excellent starting point for exploring the Trieste area. We would love t return in the future!

Amazing view and nature around the hotel

We spent one night at Maximilian Suites before a cruise. Our room was a complete apartment with a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The suite was gorgeous with spectacular views! The front desk staff and restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. I wish we were staying longer!

This hotel is the perfect experience by the sea. The views are outstanding from every part of the hotel and the staff is helpful. Much more than just a place to stay before your cruise. We will definitely visit again.

In my recent sojourn at the 'Riviera' hotel, I found myself lamenting the absence of anticipated opulence. The dearth of direct sea access, compounded by a staircase seemingly leading astray, left me wanting. The demeanor of the reception staff, regrettably, lacked the warmth and courtesy expected of hospitality professionals. Furthermore, the state of disrepair within the room, marked by worn-out furnishings and amenities, failed to meet the discerning standards of a purported four-star establishment. Additionally, the arduous path to the beach posed challenges, particularly for those with health concerns, underscoring accessibility issues. Moreover, the hotel's apparent disregard for sustainable practices left a palpable void in its commitment to environmental stewardship. In sum, my experience fell short of the promised grandeur, presenting ample opportunity for introspection and improvement.

Has been spent a great Christmas season in Hotel Riviera in Trieste. Beautiful sea view, nice room and especially delicious breakfasts with excellent service by Tomi. The entire staff is very polite and willing to serve. Thank you and all the best for 2024 !!!

Beautiful sea-view hotel with a nice garden. Quiet and cozy rooms with an amazing ambiance. Staff are very kind and helpful especially Tommy who designed and served an amazing breakfast payed attention to all tiny details to make our time wonderful.

Posizione spettacolare, personale gentilissimo, stanza vista mare, colazione e cena sul terrazzo con vista stupenda. Prima colazione grandiosa, in aggiunta serviti dal mitico Tommy dalla voce rauca che serve il caffè con una parola gentile e originale per ogni ospite. Ci torno da anni, purtroppo non abbastanza spesso
