Rox Hotel Aberdeen by Compass Hospitality

hotel was good for downtown, but there are stairs when you arrive at front door, which are a bit awkward when you have a large suitcase. Once you are through reception area, there are elevators, but to get to reception, you have to climb some steps. Would be nice if there was someone watching to help you. Breakfast was great and coffee the best!

Nice hotel and great location. Only down side is people upstairs were noisy when walking about and u could hear nearly every thing from other rooms

We enjoyed our 2-night stay. We parked in the Shiprow NCP carpark and got a voucher from the hotel for reduced parking fees. It was a short walk from the carpark to the hotel. The staff were all very pleasant, polite and helpful. The room was nicely decorated, clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a made-to-order breakfast the first morning and the hot buffet was open the second morning (I suppose it depends how busy the hotel is); both were very good. Wifi is free. The hotel is well situated for shopping, restaurants, bars and cinemas. We will stay there again.

Staff were very pleasant, breakfast awful! Room was very nice after we complained about out first room as we were given a standard double rather than executive which we had paid for!

I chose this hotel based on internet recommendations and it wasn't until I arrived I realised I had been past many times and hadn't given it a second thought, because the street entrance doesn't convey any of the quality to be found once inside. I would recommend a stay here based on its quality, location and size of even the single rooms.

The room was stuffy....no window could open to the outside...the only air was from an airconditioner! Noisy beyond belief.....band noise coming up from below. Restaurant closed at 9pm on a Saturday! Not great!

A agreable stay in this nice and clean hotel. The breakfeast is great. The place is well maintained. Nice rooms.
