Great location and lovely staff. Breakfast was delicious. Bed really comfy.

The curtains in the room were dirty, had to wash hands after opening or closing. Shower only usable for quick wash as can't stand up using it. Everything else was great.

Clean room and friendly staff.

I am quite concerned that they took my card and wrote down my card details and have no idea where these are stored. They wouldn't let me have the keys to my room, which was already paid for until I gave my card details in case I ordered room service, which I knew I wasn't going to do.

Easy and ample parking. Easy walk to town.

Hotel was perfect as it had its own car park in the city centre. So an ideal base for exploring. Breakfast was superb, quality and choice. Restaurant food was excellent.

Only downside was the size of the compact double room. I expected it to be small but bedside units were too big for the space and the toilet was so crammed in it was difficult to use unless you were left handed. But bed was comfortable and all was clean.

The tasty breakfast and choices, one of the best we've experienced.

The bed was on a slope due to the age of the building, so felt strange and didn't sleep well.

Breakfast excellent and service was great by the lade whos name I cant remember. All the food was locally produced and fresh. Due the inclement weather we were unable to sit in the lovely walled garden but it was well kepy and we would use next time.
