Coral Sands Beach Resort

Wonderful stay at this Barbados hotel! Amazing location only 15 minutes from the airport, right on a beautiful peaceful beach. The views from the room were absolutely stunning, especially overlooking the sea. The pool area was fantastic and relaxing, and the whole hotel had a calm tropical atmosphere. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy Barbados!

The location was fantastic. So close to the beach, local shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were large. The hotel has about 30 rooms and we like the smaller hotels.

Only small criticism would be that the towels in the room were very small and thin.

Massive rooms - all with a sea view. The hotel is at the beach - you just need to go through a gate. Fifty meters to a local supermarket.

Dated and a bit tired. There is a bar by the pool but it was almost never open during our stay. This hotel is not really my “cup of tea” but I spoke with a couple that have been coming back over decades so clearly my view is not universal.

Great location right by the beach. the outlook from our room across the pool to the ocean was delightful - a great place to wake up in the mornings.

The street area from which the resort is accessed is quite down at heel. the resort was well-placed to walk to a number of venues, however the footpath paving was pretty ordinary for the most part so, when walking, we had to be extra careful we didn't trip on the broken footpaths. Each morning when we were on our patio enjoying breakfast and our wonderful view, we were disturbed by a strong smell of marijuana that made me feel quite nauseous. It seemed to be coming from another room at the resort. Although I reported the discomfort to the front desk, the marijuana smell persisted on subsequent days. On the last evening we were there, while having a farewell drink with friends, they also smelled the marijuana, so it certainly was not just in my imagination. This was disappointing.

Nice large room. Kitchen perfect…BUT no dish soap.. paper towel???

Seriously- ZERO toiletries?????? No dish soap..?only one tea towel.???
