Villaki Oia

Stayed here for 3 nights as a couple in our thirties. We believe we received excellent value and service during our stay (6th hotel stay in Greece). The staff took care of reservations for onward hotel bookings, dinner plans, and transfers. The included breakfast consisted of ordering from a full menu the night before and was set up on our balcony at whatever time we asked- the food was excellent. The view from our balcony was spectacular. The pool here is small, but there are only 7 rooms at the hotel- non issue. Guests are also permitted to use very close swimming pools at affiliated hotels nearby. We were welcomed with fresh lemon-aid and a bottle of complimentary wine was placed in our room on arrival. The manager brought out two complimentary drinks one afternoon while we were having a sandwich on the balcony. The privacy of our balcony is worth mentioning- you can sit out there in a provided house-robe whenever and the view is mostly blocked from the busy Oia runway above you. The bathroom products were good and they provided q-tips. make-up pads, etc. No towel games around the pool. They set out fluffy beach towels and the pool has a service button if you need something. The prices for the hotel food were very reasonable in comparison to other hotels. The wifi signal was average, but better than most I have experienced in Greece. Power adapter provided. A Bose speaker was set up (ipod nano attached) playing a collection of acoustic versions of pop songs! Loved it!

Great hotel, beautiful rooms, lovely view and outlook, fantastic location, top service. Highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Oia is generally not suitable for people with mobility issues as there are lots of steps at most of the hotels.

We have stayed in many hotels over the years styled as both four and five star. Most have proved very pleasant but without particular memories or personal attention from staff. Katikies provides a truly stunning location overlooking the caldera and levels of individual service not experienced elsewhere. From reception to pool and cleaning staff there was a truly professional and informed welcome. The rooms are well finished and many have private terraces including jacuzzis. As pointed out in previous reviews the steps, particularly to the lower pool and rooms could be a challenge to the less able bodied, but overall this is a really special hotel fully meriting its reputation. Over the next day or two the hotel is closing for full refurbishment and alteration ready for 2014. It will be interesting to see how the owner plans to improve on what is already near perfection.

Beautiful villa located right at the beginning of the pedistrian road in Oia - great spot. Villa manager Lia was so sweet and helpful with everything we needed. Delicious breakfasts on your balcony overlooking the water. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this spot is great - if you are looking for a little more of a luxury hotel type feel go to the Katikies hotel or one of the larger island properties (although you are free to use the Katikies property). One complaint is the pool here is a little dirty and the chairs/beds there do not compare to the comfort and luxury of the ones at the hotel!

Katikies was great!! The service was top notch, the views were amazing, the rooms were clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This place is great if you are looking for a quiet getaway in Oia. The entire hotel has 7 rooms. Breakfast is delivered daily to your balcony. If you wish to have the amenities of a larger hotel, you can use the facilities of the Katikies Hotel that is no more than a minute walk away.

The service at villa katikies was good, almost 5 star and personalized though not there yet. The room was overall good n spacious. Unfortunately my bathroom had a lousy sink which does not drain well and the shower screen does not prevent water splashes during a shower to be contained inside the shower area, hence the bath room floor gets wet and messy. The hotel also does not provide shaver kit, dental kit and shower cap. I did get the shower cap after i requested it but not the shaver kit. Car rental is more expensive if you book through the hotel , $45 euro per day as compared to if you booked on your own (35- 40euro per day).

What an amazing hotel. Dont consider staying anywhere else. The staff is amazing and the manager was so nice, he upgraded us to a junior suite and was always there for anything we needed. The pool and its view is unreal. The food is great
