Aqualine Apartments On The Broadwater

Opted for the Balcony upgrade, waterview. Room was clean, fresh smell as soon as you entered, decor was perfect, was really nice to see well known brand names appliances and even have decent dinnerware & utensils. All in working order - that was a bonus for us! Soundproof! Could not hear any activity from the room beside us unless you were out in the corridor. Traffic noise wasn't annoying either. We were indeed pleasantly surprised with everything and perfect for short or long term stay!

Bathroom was a let down for us. Shower head was on the smaller side and pressure was minimal. We weren't able to switch it to use the spa bath - assuming it was jammed/stuck? Shower partition screen did get stuck on the bath rim but thankfully we could undo it without any breakage. Beds were quite firm for our liking but that's a personal preference on our end and we coped with it.

Clean, new comfortable mattresses and sofa. Location is ideal for theme parks and water activities 10’ drive to shopping precinct Well equipped kitchen and simple meal prep for dining Good Communication from staff regarding our out of hours check in and also the Air conditioner maintenance issue.

Towel for the pool would have been great to have. The spa jets weren’t working There was a strong musty smell in the corridor lift area in our level.

The location

There was only 1 saucepan in the kitchen & a big one at that so we had to go buy our own cheap saucepan set on the first day as well as a peeler & potato masher because the reception was shut early. We also had a view of the dirty old brick building next door so we had to keep the curtains closed most of our stay because a number of rooms next door could look straight in to ours & it was only about 10m away.

Great location

Just a few tiles broken on the deck but gotta expect that after the storm gold coast had really need a exhaust fan in the bathroom

These apartments are exceptionally well set out and really use the most of the room available. They are bright and airy with a decent kitchen.

Not much actually as there were more dislikes than likes

Firstly checking in was so strange even though I had paid online already , it took ages to get a key as she was dealing with her children. Then we couldn't get the Foxtel to work , apparently the chords had been pulled out so after trying and trying they had to help. The hot water was so bad and as pointed out it's a very small system but as a customer I really don't care as that's not my problem, having a cold bath wasn't nice. We then went to the pool for a bbq and swim in spa that I was looking forward to but that didn't work either. I slept on the couch as the bed was awful, hard and very low . We used the dryer and we were sitting waiting and heard a bang sound? The front lid had come off gee what else could go wrong here ? We were so happy to leave and will never return. For the money we paid it was a real mess. I had to call a few hours after we left to ask where was my deposit , oh sorry she said I'll do that now. They wouldn't wait that long for payment coming to them now would they.
