"Not bad, but..."

6.0

The hotel was clean and in decent condition, but the location is hard to find and the walk to the main street in the hot Jakarta heat is pretty ruff. Once to the main road however, there is a bus line that will take you anywhere. Considering the Jakarta traffic, this was a god sent. The AC dripped, but I don't know if that could be avoided. The breakfast had limited choices, but it was tasty. The coffee shop serves excellent coffee, and the staff was very friendly. I actually like the surrounding area because you are in a real Jakarta neighborhood. If you are looking for the resort experience, this is not for you. As a solo traveler, it was not bad and I stayed here for 7 nights. If I visit Jakarta again, I would return to this hotel.

"Value for money"

8.0

I stayed here from 10 June - 6 July. 4 weeks. I took the deluxe room with fridge and one windows. Location wise is excellent as I don't have to take taxi to go to the office. The taxi drivers may have some problems to come here but you can always give them pointers. Take the printed map prepared at the reception so you can pass it to the taxi drivers. My room has no view at all. For me the size of room is small but adequate. Still in good condition. Breakfast is almost the same everyday. Cereal, eggs, bread, salad, local foods (fried rice, fried mee, white rice and one dish, coffee and tea, fruits. If you are ordering ala carte for dinner. Western food is not recommended. Local food is ok. But like for me.. After 4 weeks. I don't know what else to eat. If you are quite adventurous with food.. The surrounding is actually a food haven during the day. You can find anything of local food and also cheap. we ate lunch at one of the front stall. It was usd4 for 3 people. Walk 5 minutes to the left of the hotel. There is a laundry shop. Cheap too. 1 piece.. Wash n iron is around 50 cent. Overall I will stay there again. Suitable for business travellers. But no entertainment during the night.

"Adequate - but foodstalls for the adventurous."

6.0

For this business traveller it was adequate. Friendly staff, useable, clean rooms. An eco-friendly note in the bathroom suggests putting towels on the rack on the hook unless you want them replaced in order to reduce detergent use. Ate at the Fagiolo Coffee and Tea cafe a chicken curry which was pleasant except one of the pieces of chicken was raw. Wifi worked in the room and the cafe wifi worked. Note that the street outside is lined with food vendors so you don't have to go far to get a taste of Jakarta. A colleague tells me he was woken by the mosque nearby at 4.30am. I heard nothing.

"Terrible location"

2.0

Small hotel that does its job but its located in a terrible part of town. Cab drivers do not know where it is and the traffic jams around the area is horrendous. I have to spend an hour trying to navigate the driver to the location via googlemaps even calling the hotel to give instructions was hopeless. Will never stay there again.

"A good business hotel"

8.0

I was a bit unsure, but this Hotel was chosen as it is close to the Intercontintal Hotel where I was working. Tired after a long-haul flight from Europe, I cannot fault the place. The check-in was seamless, and the room was small, clean and functional and the air-con worked really well. There was free WiFi which is always welcome. it was possible to get a meal and a beer in the restaurant (which shuts at 10PM). OK we were the only ones there, but the food was excellent, with wonderful and friendly service. A bottle oif mineral water from the restaurant (not the bar) cost Rp 10,000, but then they provide free drinking water from dispensers on each floor (close to the lift) and so I could keep refilling it. Breakfast was good too (if you like local food and I do). The Hotel has some dwelling houses surrounding it and so in the morning you have the usual domestic noises - people talking/shouting, cocks crowing, music etc This did not bother me. Checkout is at midday, and the price is reasonable for the location and quality.

"Nice hotel but hidden from main road"

6.0

Stayed two nights quit good, nice hotel, clean, free wifi and good location, quite hiding at Mayapada Bank Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. Very easy to go every where by general transportation. The room is average, no mineral water or mini bar, I bought one bottle mineral water from their own cafe about Rp 13.000 instead Rp 4.000. and the staff were friendly and helpful, I hope Prasada Mansion Hotel could be more concern with their facility.

"Clean and near World Trade Center"

8.0

Stayed one night only. Well, first of all, the google maps somehow wrongly located this hotel. I got lost, devastated, frustating the taxi driver, just due to following the printed maps from google. This hotel is very very easy to find! You just have to turn left after Mayapada Bank tower, then turn left again. The hotel is right on the right side. The hotel name wasnt so clear, since it's in latin font type. Litlle bit hard to read (for me). I booked this hotel on the morning. Not so sure at first, since my friends havent ever heard about this hotel before. So basically i just wanna try. There's only 2 types of room: Superior (630K IDR) & Deluxe (670 IDR). The differents are, Deluxe have minibars and sofa, while Superior have balcony without minibars or sofa. So if you're not comfortable with balcony, you might wanna choose Deluxe rooms. Reception works fast and efficient, only 10 minutes to get my card key, but a liitle smile might be much better. My room is 151, superior single bed. It's small room for 630KIDR, but i think it's quite clean, No dust in the room, bathroom also clean, with full signal of free wifi inside the room. There's no electric kettle nor cups inside the room, but there's stainless jug & 2 ordinary glass with water dispenser near elevator. So its fine for me. What i like most, is that this hotel is so close with WTC II, just walking 5 minutes (get in from back-entrance), and voila! Arrived at WTC 2 ;) Surely will recommended this hotel to my friends..
