Prasada Mansion Sudirman

It looks like a mansion more than ordinary or budget hotel. Room is clean and neat. I was less expect about it but decided to stay for 3 more days there after first night stay. De Cafe'is new and clean. It's really worth your money at this price.

The hotel stay was really a pleasant one other than the location & food variety. Pros: The staff were really friendly. Nice & well kept environment in the hotel. Very reasonable price for the quality of room. Cold & hot water dispenser availble in the corridor. Cons: It was really difficult to find our way there for the 1st time because hotel is located in a small street. However, after being there, you will realise that the hotel is actually only 1 opening away from the main road. Then, it will be very easy to find your way to the hotel. Food variety was quite little. But enough to statisfy me(: Hotel is highly recommended if you are not afraid of trying to locate it for the first time. It is located near many big named shopping malls.

I stayed here with a bunch of other colleagues. The rooms are basic, but adequate. The restaurant was a notch above decent. Most importantly, though, the price is an exceptional deal given the location. Also, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at the Prasada Mansion in Jakarta; nevertheless 2 aspects could be improved. One is easy: the breakfast is not up to general standards. The other one is the access to the hotel. Most taxi drivers do not know how to get to the hotel as it is out of the major roads. The access is from a side alley. To get a taxi can also be difficult; even with a map provided by the hotel it is still difficult to find. But generally the hotel is comfortable, clean and the service is good.

Clean hotel, friendly staff and good food. Rooms are a bit small though. Hotel is new, less than 2 years in service. Nice lobby/cafe. Most of the time, cab drivers won't know the location of the hotel, so just mention "Sudirman" and "Mayapada tower" if driver still puzzled mention "Permata Bank on Sudirman" take the first street left just after mayapada and turn left again on Komodo Rayan hotel is just on the right side, watch for black gate".

I came from newyork and I stayed for 7 nights and had remarkable experience. Hotel lobby is verry attractive so as restaurant and cafe. Rooms are little bit small with no refrigerator. But you cant complain about the price. The price was right as they say you get what you pay for. The surroundings are not that great. Taxi doesnt know the hotel location maybe because its newly build. Also little bit far from main road. I enjoyed as I was alone for business trip. Not Bad for price.. Good Luck...

If you can pay $25 a night for this place, it *might* be worth it. Otherwise, there are much better places you can stay at, even in this general area. The breakfast is pretty minimal, but acceptable. The wi-fi is sporadic in the room, and constantly disconnects. No wi-fi in the restaurant, either. I found the bed pretty uncomfortable. Too hard. The tv had an acceptable number of channels. The staff was friendly enough.

This hotel is in a somewhat hidden and downmarket neighborhood. Got a little difficult to find for the cab driver. Room service was not great. They brought food, with no covers. Power went off in the middle of the night and it took more than 2 hours to fix. Breakfast - not much to speak of. Cereals etc. One plus point - Free internet, although slow.

Been to Jakarta six or seven times, and this was my second time in a row to stay at the Prasada Mansion. While the location is absolutely great as it's central to everything in Jakarta, it's EXTREMELY difficult to find this hotel the first time, and as other reviews have noted, NO taxi drivers know where it is, and locals on the surrounding streets hardly know where it is, either. As a result, both the first time AND the second time that I stayed here, I spent an hour in the taxi circling around the side streets (and I can guarantee you that it's NOT because the taxi drivers were trying to get more money out of me). It's in the Setiabudi area, but not on Setiabudi street, and it's actually on the next street off of Sudirman south of the street going to Hotel Setiabudi. However, once you find it, you won't get lost again, it's walking distance from Sudirman, one of the main highways through Jakarta, the hotel is new, looks great, nice breakfast, wonderful staff (I speak Indonesian, but they can also speak English), the chef at the restaurant worked for years in Australia, the rooms are perfect (a bit small, but hey, this is Jakarta!), air-con worked perfect, hot water shower, balcony, luggage storage, perfect western toilet, and contrary to what others have written, I had NO issues with the free Wi-Fi, which worked perfectly in my room throughout my 4-day stay. I will DEFINITELY stay here again. Other hotels in Jakarta are more expensive, old, & run down, but Prasada is great!

Like : Room is very clean, service is great and very friendly. Free Wi-Fi with decent speed connection. Dislike : Rooms are very small. Breakfast is maybe need improvement for some people, they only have toast, cereal, omelette, fried rice. But for me it's enough though. Their location is quite difficult to find as noone knows their hotel name, and some even don't know their address' name. I'd suggest you said to the taxi driver that the location is behind Mayapada Tower, go straight then turn abit left on the junction. I'd recommend for their quality of service and their cleanliness.
