Our first night breakfast was supposed to be served at 6:30 we waited till after 6:47 and still no breakfast so we left but the other two days it was done on time

The breakfast was the best part.

Our first room had mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. The shower had clearly not been cleaned. So we switched rooms. Second room not any better. There’s clearly a problem with the bathrooms and not proper ventilation. Stains all over the curtains, stained carpets, and furniture. This property needs a good deep cleaning in every room!

Hotel is clean and up-to-date. Comfortable rooms. Loved the pool and hot tub. The free breakfast is the best you will find at a hotel! Will definitely stay again.

This is the letter I sent to the manager: _____ We are two women (friends traveling together; we are not gay). We asked for a room that is NOT on the first floor for security reasons. We were given and first floor room and told no other options available. We were also told, "nothing bad's gonna happen here" by the guy who checked us in. Later, we discovered the locks on the window were broken and the phone wire was cut. Windows are ground level, large and easy to climb into. I get it; you all get a lot of whiny women and staff is instructed not take us too seriously. Here's why this situation different: I have noticed a consistent pattern at IHG, Hilton, Wyndham, and other properties for more than 15 years. When I travel alone or with another female friend, we are INVARIABLY put on the first floor. Every time, I ask to be moved and usually the hotel begrudgingly accommodates. I do it because six times, these 1st floor rooms have had broken locks on the windows, door, and in one case, an adjoining door. I was told there was no other option and I took it despite my fear. On four of these occasions, my room BROKEN INTO! Four times in 12 years. Adjoining room: loud group of drunk college boys came in, refused to leave. Outside window #1: a man started to climb in, I pushed him out screaming and he said, "I'll kill you." I left the hotel. Outside window #2: two guests partying in the parking lot opened the window and came in to pee. I slept in the car. Door lock: Door lock: Staff gave the same room to a man who arrived late. I was asleep, he came in, started unpacking. We both went to the lobby to complain. Our 1st floor window is busted and the phone line is cut. Two of your employees refused to remedy this. I asked one for a broom handle or piece of wood to jam the window and she did nothing. This is beyond "not meeting standards." Your hotel chain is unsafe—and possibly engaging in predatory behavior toward women. Full stop. Do you have a mother, sister, daughter? Would you want them subjected to this? _____ The other hotels where the break-ins above occurred were these.
