"Not bad for one night"

The location was good ,close to the cruise terminal after Yangtze River cruise.. The room was clean and interesting view looking down on life in the streets below. We didn't try the restaurant as I think it was closed, but we found a very nice place next door. Also a good selection in the shopping mall next door. We didn't have breakfast as we had an early flight

No English is spoken by any of the staff. The corridors had a smell of smoking despite the no smoking signs in the lobby. There was no wine by the glass in the bar, only very expensive bottles. I understand that we were in a small place a long way from the international cities, but ,I thought, given its part of the IHG group, it would have been a slightly higher standard.
