Hakuba Mominoki Hotel

The hotel staffs were really helpful and friendly, giving us free transportation around the town. The children had a great time and enjoyed their stay at Mominoki.

The hotel is in a nice area very near hakuba happo and other ski resorts. They accomodated my request to cancel my last night because there was no snow. Would like to thank natalia from the front desk for helping out. I would highly recommend hakuba mominoki! Its a very nice hotel with their own onsen and the rooms are on the big side. The breakfast is also good.

食事のビュッフェが夕食は期待以下だった。刺身無し、寿司無し(いなり寿司有)、天ぷら無し、フルーツほとんど無し、ステーキ無し、何がメインなのか残念です。 朝食の方が良く感じました。

部屋に入ると、ナイトテーブルの上に使ったティッシュがあり、少し気分が悪かったです。 お風呂はお湯も良く良かったです。 夜になるとラウンジが閉まっていて、残念でした。 スタッフの対応は良かったです。

On the whole, a great stay at Hakuba Mominoki Hotel. The location was great (walking distance to some of the slopes on Happo One), with a shuttle bus to some of the other slopes outside the hotel, and the hotel had a shuttle bus that ran until 9:30 to take us out for dinner. It was convenient too because you can buy ski lift passes from the receiption and the ski rental shop is right outside the hotel. The onsen was also great. The rooms and hotel itself aren't new but seemed decently maintained to us. Breakfast buffet was fine, decent variety although the same every day for the 4 days we were there. The only major downside for us was that the rooms were pretty cold, and that wasn't very enjoyable in winter. Hopefully they fix the heating or put in better insulation soon.

Some of the hotel staff were very helpful. The outdoor onsen was great and the ski equipment storage was well designed.

Everything was great about our stay at Mominoki, including a free room upgrade! Regarding our upgrade, we had called Expedia to change our bed from two twins to a king or queen size bed since we were a couple. The hotel accommodated with an upgrade and just combined a full and twin size bed together for us.

Amazing quality of service!

Initially, the room they gave me smelled as if someone had smoked 2 packs a day inside, but the hostess Kimi immediately gave me a new room when I asked. Good: 1. Amazing staff from the hostesses who reserved local restaurants for me and arranged transport with the shuttle to the drivers who were extremely punctual and friendly. 2. Awesome outdoor onsen to relax in after a day of skiing. 3. Close proximity to the ski lifts. The town has a winter shuttle that starts running end of December but the hotel itself has an hourly shuttle in early season. 4. Clean rooms and hallways. Comfortable bed. Bad: The only bad thing is the rooms are a bit outdated and the carpets should probably be replaced.
