Greenview Motel

The lady at the front desk on arrival was very nice.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights with 2 people in each, my son and his partner could not stay the second night due to a party going on in the room next door. They only got about an hours sleep and couldn’t face another night like that. We were unable to advise the office as it was closed when we went out the next morning and closed when we arrived back from our day out. When we advised the office on checkout we were told we should have advised them, how under the circumstances, im not sure. Both rooms were rather grimy and could have done with a deep clean. I would not recommend this motel and will never return. Probably one of the worst place we have ever stayed.

The room had a bad overwhelming smell like bleach used to clean mould. The bed was uncomfortable and dirty. The handbasin had disgusting stains and the shower was covered in grime. The spa was in a confined space and smelt like toxic levels of bleach. Topper pad for the spa had grime on it and gave the impression that it wasn’t cleaned and chemicals were just added in very high amounts. I stayed in 8 hotels/motels over the week all for similar prices and this one is the only place that made me feel disgusted and uncomfortable. I would never stay here again.

Very comfortable, always happy staying here even though it's an overnighter,and staff a very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

The place was advertised as "quality" that is a false advertisement. The photos on the website do not look like the actual place, smells musty and damp, holes and drawing marks on walls, mould on walls and curtains and inside the kettle, vomit like stains on the carpet next to one of the beds, smoke alarm doesn't work, and im sure the ceiling is made of asbestos. Overall, im surprised this place is still open. Health and safety is 0% We had to make do, as we traveled far for our childrens sports competitions 😫. Not Recommended

studio 2 budget A large studio with a queen bed, kitchenette, chairs, widescreen TV, and ensuite bathroom with shower. Shower pressure was so low I had to negotiate with each droplet. Meanwhile, the toilet floor auditioned for a water park. Would’ve brought floaties if I’d known!

Horrible!! The place was not visually inviting at all as soon as we pulled up to the property. It just got worse as we inspected the room then the spa pools etc asked for milk, was told there was cremer in a sachet (thats a 1st) but to take a shower the next morning and it was cold, I couldn't leave fast enough. Such a shame for the community of Rotorua, it really has lost its appeal.
