Bella Vista Queenstown

The location was amazing, taking about 8 mins tops to walk into city queenstown. You could see the Gondola if you went out the front of the premises. Parking was good. Fresh Choice Supermarket walkable distance and gas station nearby. You could get extra laundry such as clean towels from the laundry room.

Room was stuffy, hot struggled to sleep each night so we opened windows as no air conditioning. While we managed to stay in the South Island free from sandflies for 2 weeks, a sandfly entered our room and we were bitten constantly. We only realised it was a sandfly the morning we left as we couldn’t see it. So that was rather annoying. If the room had air conditioning this wouldn’t be an issue. Smell. The first day was smell free, the second (we were by the laundry and rubbish bins were by our bathroom window) when we came home the bathroom area reeked of a mix between wet towels and ammonia. We had to put the fan on for hours we couldn’t get rid of it. No cleaning of rooms until you stayed for 2 nights. We disliked it so we left early.

Quiet and always able to park close to my room

The room was lovely and tidy, the bed was big and comfortable, facilities were great, location was great except for roadworks outside (out of their control)

The Motel is well situated being a short walk into town but is far enough away to be quiet. The room provided all we needed and was clean and comfortable.

Excellent location, easy walk to CBD and most activities. Room was good size, nicely decorated, super clean, very comfy. Management friendly and welcoming; they happily accommodated special requests. Parking very convenient. Will definitely be back.

It is located good distance, less than 10 mins walk from the downtown. Easy access to the famous Fergburger for our breakfast. The fascility is a little old but well-mentained.　The road in front of the motel was under construction, with some sections only allowing one-way traffic, which was confusing at first.
